In this paper,we show that circular polarization-keeping reflection can be achieved using reflective metasurfaces.The underlying physical mechanism of the polarization-keeping reflection is analyzed using a reflection matrix.A wideband circular polarization-keeping reflector is demonstrated using N-shaped resonators.Both the simulation and experiment results show that the polarization-keeping reflection can be achieved with a high efficiency larger than 98%over the frequency range from 9.2 GHz to 17.7 GHz for both incident left-and right-handed circularly polarized waves.Under oblique incidence,the bandwidth increases as the incident angle varies from 0°to 80°. Moreover,the co-polarization reflection is independent of the incident azimuth angles.  相似文献

The open nature of radio propagation enables ubiquitous wireless communication. This allows for seamless data transmission. However, unauthorized users may pose a threat to the security of the data being transmitted to authorized users. This gives rise to network vulnerabilities such as hacking, eavesdropping, and jamming of the transmitted information. Physical layer security (PLS) has been identified as one of the promising security approaches to safeguard the transmission from eavesdroppers in a wireless network. It is an alternative to the computationally demanding and complex cryptographic algorithms and techniques. PLS has continually received exponential research interest owing to the possibility of exploiting the characteristics of the wireless channel. One of the main characteristics includes the random nature of the transmission channel. The aforesaid nature makes it possible for confidential and authentic signal transmission between the sender and the receiver in the physical layer. We start by introducing the basic theories of PLS, including the wiretap channel, information-theoretic security, and a brief discussion of the cryptography security technique. Furthermore, an overview of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communication is provided. The main focus of our review is based on the existing key-less PLS optimization techniques, their limitations, and challenges. The paper also looks into the promising key research areas in addressing these shortfalls. Lastly, a comprehensive overview of some of the recent PLS research in 5G and 6G technologies of wireless communication networks is provided.  相似文献

We present a detailed theoretical and experimental study of the reflectance response of a deformed-helix ferroelectric (DHF) liquid crystal (LC) cell to an applied voltage under cross-polarisers. Using a model based on the effective dielectric tensor approximation, we derive simple analytical formulas to design a LC cell with maximum modulation depth and optimal linearity of the electro-optical response intensity versus the electric field. Our experimental results show that the cell works at frequencies up to 10 kHz and exhibits excellent linearity, with a total harmonic distortion as low as ?70 dB. These findings suggest that DHF-LCs can be exploited to develop simple and accurate optical sensors.  相似文献

A wide pitch gradient covering the near infrared region (750.0–2500.0 nm) were facilely obtained by simple controlling temperature difference to LC mixtures with a twist grain boundary (TGB)–N* phase transition. After the pitch gradient formed, the structure of broad reflective bandwidth was fixed through polymerisation of monomers in mixtures by UV irradiation. It was found that the temperature difference between the up and down side of the samples was critical to form wide-pitch gradient distribution. Additionally, the reflection wavelength and bandwidth of films could be adjusted by the applied temperature difference with the widest bandwidth up to 1750 nm. This simple method for the preparation of broad reflective films was expected to be used in the fields like architectural energy conservation or infrared shield.  相似文献

以微米级二氧化钛(P25)为原料,用水热法制备了一维纳米钛酸材料,分析了纳米钛酸的形貌、红外特性和晶体结构。并进一步对纳米钛酸作为太阳光反射涂料填料的效果进行了研究,其涂层在可见光波段(380~780 nm)范围平均反射率可达到76.15%,在红外波段(780~2500 nm)范围平均反射率可达47.34%。  相似文献

为了实现遥感目标的长波红外高光谱成像,满足目标探测对多信息量的需求,设计了高光谱分辨率长波红外(8~12 μm)成像光谱仪。前置望远系统采用离轴三反系统,以实现无遮拦、大口径及宽视场成像设计;光谱分光系统分别采用折射式和反射式结构进行优化设计。设计结果显示,采用折射式结构,可得到通光孔径为100 mm,F数为2,光谱分辨率16 nm,空间分辨率150 μrad,冷光阑效率100%,成像质量接近衍射极限的光学系统;采用反射式结构,为了保证光学系统无挡光,需采用多片离轴反射镜,增加了系统的非对称性,使得系统的像散、彗差和场曲难以校正到最佳状态。设计结果表明:折/反混合式成像光谱系统具有光谱分辨率高、成像质量好和结构合理等优点,点斑均方根直径与国内现有探测器像素尺寸匹配。  相似文献

为制备出在130~210nm波段具有良好光谱性能的铝反射膜,优化设计了铝反射镜中铝层和保护层氟化镁的厚度,理论确定铝层和氟化镁保护层最佳厚度分别为80nm和33nm。采用热舟蒸发工艺,在BK7基片上制备了Al反射膜样品,获得了130~210nm波长范围内反射率均大于80%的金属铝膜。研究了铝层沉积速率和紫外辐照处理对薄膜性能的影响,并考察了铝膜光谱性能的时效性。结果表明铝层沉积速率越快,制备的铝膜反射率越高;合理地存放铝膜元件,可以长时间内保持铝膜的光谱性能。适当的紫外辐照处理能进一步提高铝膜在真空紫外波段的反射率。  相似文献

反射式多通道滤光片在光学通讯、光学成像、遥感高光谱等方面有着重要的应用。利用含缺陷一维光子晶体独特的带隙特性,依据其相应的能带理论,设计了一种由金属和介质组成的反射式多通道滤光片。这种滤光片通道的工作范围由光子带隙理论计算得到,通道个数由"光子晶体"缺陷的周期数决定,通道的位置利用等效相位厚度的方法确立。相对于传统的以经验为主的反射式多通道滤光片设计方法,这种基于光子晶体的带隙理论的设计能够从"光子"的角度给出此类反射式滤光元件的设计思路和理论解释。  相似文献
